Help with the Rum Runner rum & spirits collection app.
Tap + Add Bottle to catalog a bottle by hand, or use Scan Barcode on the Add Bottle screen to look up a product automatically. Barcode lookups are best-effort: if nothing is found, just fill the details in manually.
How do I back up my collection?
Go to Settings → Backup & Restore → Export Backup. This creates a single file containing your whole collection (including photos) that you can save anywhere: Files, email, AirDrop, a cloud drive. Use Import Backup on any device to restore it.
Does Rum Runner sync between devices?
Not automatically. Everything is stored locally on your device. Use the export/import backup feature to move your collection to a new device.
Can I change the app's light/dark appearance?
Yes. Settings → Appearance lets you pin Rum Runner to Light or Dark regardless of your phone's system setting, or leave it on System to follow it automatically.
What's Captain's Bounty?
Your shopping list. Tap the skull-and-crossbones badge on any bottle to add or remove it.
Can I catalog spirits other than rum?
Yes. Everything works the same for any bottle. The Type field just won't have a specific category for it, so it'll land under "Other."
